Stitchin' Mission #19 was at St. Mark's Anglican Church, Darling Point (Sydney), Australia, in 2009. Those lessons have evolved into a thriving group that's St. Mark's Quilters.

Let Go and Let God
As children bring their broken toys
with tears, for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God,
because he was my friend.
But then, instead of leaving Him
in peace, to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help,
with ways that were my own.
At last, I snatched them back
and cried, "How can you be so slow?"
My child, He said, "What could I do?
You never did let go."

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Phillippians 4:6-7 (NLT)
